Sergeant Melissa Evans

Sergeant Evans completed the Vermont Part-time Police Academy Basic Training Program in March of 2009. In December 2010, she completed the Vermont Full-time Police Academy. She currently patrols the town of Putney.
She holds a Masters Degree in Psychology and a Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice. In addition, she is a Nationally Certified R.A.D. (Rape Aggression Defense) instructor for women. She maintains her certifications for Field Training Officer, Emergency Medical Technician, Lidar, Radar, and DUI enforcement.
